Sarah C. Richardson is one of the preeminent leaders of residential real estate in the Phoenix area. As the CEO and founder of Tru Realty, she is responsible for both the daily operations and oversight of the multiple growth strategies that the brokerage carries out. Sarah launched Tru Realty in 2010 as a way to serve a marketplace that was seeing a shift from auction centric fix/flips to an MLS flow. Sarah built a solid team of capital lenders, general contractors, investors, and other specialists unique to each deal. She achieved in a big way reaching over 450 deals in a span of six years. Nearly every one of these deals was profitable yielding double-digit returns.
In the midst of all this success, Sarah also expanded to traditional buyers and sellers. She ultimately was recognized as the one of the top .5% of agents for several years. Sarah’s expertise was to sustain fix/flip success for her clients well beyond the time that market conditions tightened. Recognizing change, she worked to expand her team of agents to focus on the traditional side of residential real estate. Tru Realty implemented cloud technology solutions to control cost; a performance-based sliding fee scale that motivated agents with bigger commission checks; and an industry leading mentorship program that instills a more efficient, effective and client-based approach to real estate.
Sarah was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She moved to Arizona in 1996 where she attended Arizona State University and studied Business Communications. In 2003, she shifted from her corporate path into real estate and became a member of the National Association of Realtors. Sarah specialized in Commercial, Retail Shopping Center Leasing, and Sales, and ultimately moved into Wholesale and Residential Real Estate before founding Tru Realty. Sarah is a member of the Scottsdale Chapter Women’s Council of Realtors and is also spearheading Tru Gives; Tru Realty’s charity that grants scholarships for preschool.
In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with her husband and beautiful two children. She also enjoys horseback riding, golf, skiing, and travel.
